Description
This is an analog multifunction time relay (timer) from the OMRON H3DR-A series.
This industrial device is used to automate processes that require switching loads on or off at specific intervals.

Description of Operating Modes (Schemes A, B, C, D, E)
The housing shows timing diagrams for the different modes, which are selected by a switch on the front panel :
• A (ON-delay): On-delay. After a signal is applied, the relay is activated after a time of t.
• B (Flicker OFF start): Cyclic mode (flickering), begins with a pause.
• C (Signal ON/OFF-delay): On-delay and off-delay upon control signal.
• D (Signal OFF-delay): Off-delay after the control signal is opened.
• E (Interval): Interval mode. The relay is activated immediately upon signal application and is deactivated exactly after a time of t.
Contact Assignment (Pinout)
• A1 / A2: Power input.
• B1 (RESET): Timer reset.
• C1 (START): Start the timing.
• D1 (GATE): Pause (stop timing without reset).
• 15–16/18: First group of changeover contacts (15 – common, 16 – normally closed, 18 – normally open).
• 25–26/28: Second group of changeover contacts.
