Description
Telemecanique TeSys D LC1 D09 Contactor (230V AC)
Product Description
The compact three-pole LC1 D09 contactor from Telemecanique (Schneider Electric) is a universal solution for controlling low-power electric motors and switching lighting or heating circuits. This version is equipped with a 230V AC control coil, making it ideal for most standard power supply systems without the need for additional power supplies.
Main Technical Parameters
Switching Capabilities (AC-3):
• At 230V: Power up to 2.2 kW.
• At 400V: Power up to 4 kW.
• At 500–690V: Power up to 5.5 kW.
Electrical Specifications:
• Rated Current (AC-3 Mode): 9 Amps.
• Thermal current (I_{th}): 25 Amps (at temperatures up to 40°C).
• Control coil voltage: 230 V AC, 50/60 Hz.
• Coil marking: P7.
• Insulation voltage (U_i): 690 V.
• Impulse voltage (U_{imp}): 6 kV.
Contact configuration:
• Power contacts: 3 poles (NO - normally open).
• Built-in auxiliary contacts: 1 NO (normally open) + 1 NC (normally closed).
Installation and connection
Connection parameters:
• Wire used: Copper (CU), AWG 10–18. • Recommended insulation strip length: 8 mm (5/16").
• Tightening torque for power and auxiliary terminals: 1.7 N⋅m (15 lb⋅in).
• Mounting: Universal (35 mm DIN rail or screw-on panel mounting).
Safety and Standards:
The device is certified to IEC 947, EN 60947, VDE 0660, and BS 5424. The terminal design protects against accidental contact with live parts. The device is suitable for use in circuits with short-circuit currents up to 5000 RMS when properly protected by fuses.
Model Advantages
• Wide compatibility: The 230 V coil allows the contactor to be integrated into standard domestic and industrial control networks.
• Built-in logic: The presence of 1 NO + 1 NC auxiliary contacts allows the implementation of latch-up or interlocking circuits without purchasing Additional accessories.
• Compact size: Saves space in distribution boards while maintaining the high reliability of Schneider Electric.
• Durability: The time-tested design of the TeSys D series ensures stable operation even at high switching frequencies.
Country of origin: France.
